General Instructions for a Health Check-up at NRIGH
1.Fasting for a minimum 12 hours prior to the health check-up is essential (drinking of water is permitted).
2.Avoid smoking and consuming alcohol for a minimum of 12 hours before the health check-up is better.
3.Report at the Health check-up desk in the Hospital first floor, room number 16 on empty stomach by 8.30AM.
4.If already registered at the hospital provide the Patient ID number at the time of reporting at the health check-up desk. In case of first time please carry ID Proof for the registration purpose.
5.Wear comfortable clothes and footwear. Avoid wearing tight clothes.
6.Kindly give us accurate and detailed information about your medical history. Carry the medical records and perceptions of any drugs that you are currently taking or have taken in the past.
7.Kindly inform our medical staff if you had undergone any serious medical treatment like surgery or an operation in the past. Follow the doctor’s prescription and do not leave your medicine course midway.
8.If you have defective vision, please bring glasses or prescription of Ophthalmology measurementsactual symptoms.
9.Inform our technicians / nurse if you are diabetic or have high blood pressure before they collect the blood samples..
10.Male patients who are scheduled for the Stress Test (TMT) and ECG are requested to kindly shave off chest hair before coming in for the Check-up.
11.Important Instruction For Women
a.A Health Check-up during your menstrual period is not advised.
b.Pregnant ladies and expecting mothers should not undergo any X-ray procedure.
